05 / HOW CARE IS CHOSEN
Useful detail, when you want it. Every yard starts with a condition assessment. The work reflects what we find.
We look at the pile, surface debris, edges, seams and the areas you’ve flagged. Pet use, shade, traffic and signs of standing water help frame the assessment. Where available, the turf system’s care instructions inform the method.
Debris removal clears material sitting on and within the accessible pile. Appropriate grooming helps lift flattened fibres. Controlled surface cleaning is selected for the assessed turf rather than applying the same treatment to every yard.
Removing solid waste and cleaning dog-used turf are separate jobs. We assess where odour or residue is noticed, what has already been tried and which areas may need targeted care. Persistent issues can require work beyond a standard visit; there is no guaranteed odour-removal outcome.
Infill condition can influence how the pile stands. We assess it without assuming new material is always needed. Standing water can have surface or underlying causes. Cleaning the surface does not repair a failed base or guarantee drainage improvement.

The turf system, condition and available manufacturer instructions inform the approach. We use controlled cleaning appropriate to the assessed surface. Products and any return-to-use instructions depend on the actual treatment; no universal chemical treatment is included.
Structural repairs, seam repairs and drainage repairs are outside the standard maintenance service. We explain observations that may need installer or manufacturer input.
